Biography: Zouberi taking a photo in nature

Zouberi was born in the UNESCO City of Media Arts, Linz, Upper Austria – currently residing in East Bavaria. Actively taking photos since 2004, when he got his first compact camera (an analogue Olympus model). Switched to digital photography in 2006 and bought his first DSLR in 2008 (a Nikon D40). After several upgrades over the years, now using a Nikon D780 and a Nikon D750 (both full frame).

Zouberi Photography was founded in 2010 when he studied old texts about witchcraft. The word zouberī is Middle High German and means sorcery. Ever since then, wizardry has been around when Zouberi went out to capture magic moments with his photography.

Urban, nature and landscape photography had previously been his main subjects, now the focus is clearly on concert shots. Zouberi began to shoot and write for Vita Nigra webzine in 2015 and was glad to do so until 2023. Today he works for Festival-Mediaval, Livesound-Magazine and sometimes on his very own, often accompagnied by his better half, legendary Livehörnchen.

Currently open for single or double portrait shoots (TFP). Ask for details!
